Health questions
Ask parents a few quick health screening questions during kiosk check-in. Their answers are saved with that day's attendance record, helping you document daily wellness checks and quickly spot children who may need extra attention.
Turning it on
- Enable Ask health questions at check-in.
- Choose whether to show one question per screen (large, easy-to-read buttons) or display all questions together on a single screen.
- Click Save.
Adding questions
You can build your questionnaire in two ways:
- Question library – click Add beside common screening questions.
- Custom questions – type your own question, choose an icon (or upload one), then click Add question.
Questions can be reordered using the ▲ and ▼ arrows so they're asked in the order you prefer.
Concern flags
Each question can optionally flag a concern when answered a certain way.
- Flags on Yes – useful for questions like "Has your child had a fever?"
- Flags on No – useful for questions like "Is your child eating normally?"
- Choose whichever answer should draw your attention.
Flagged responses appear on your dashboard and can also be viewed by employees if you've given them permission under Daycare Setup → Staff.
Editing questions
Use Edit to change a question or its icon, use the arrow buttons to change its position, or Delete to remove it from the questionnaire. Changes apply to future check-ins only—existing attendance records keep the answers that were originally recorded.
Best practices
Keep the questionnaire short. Three to five well-chosen questions are usually enough to identify common health concerns while keeping morning check-in quick for busy families.
