How to use it

Children don't tell time — they tell sequence.

The magic of a posted schedule isn't punctuality, it's predictability: lunch comes after clean-up, rest comes after story. Children who know what comes next transition better, and parents who can see the day's shape ask fewer "what did they even do today?" questions. Write the times as anchors, then let the day breathe around them.

  • Alternate the energy. Follow big-body time with quiet time and group time with free choice — most behavior problems live in the transitions between two high-energy blocks.
  • Protect the outdoor block by writing it down. The days it's inconvenient are the days the children need it most, and licensing in many states expects daily outdoor time weather permitting.
  • Fill the "what it looks like" column. "Circle time — calendar, weather, two songs, one story" tells a substitute exactly how to run your room and shows parents the learning inside the play.
  • Version it by season. Summer and winter days genuinely differ; the effective-date line means January's schedule isn't pretending it's July.

The daily rhythm, shared automatically.

Wylari's daily updates show parents what actually happened — activities, meals, naps, photos — inside the schedule you set, without a single photocopied handout.
