Status updates
Child Updates let you send quick, real-time updates to parents throughout the day. Use them for meals, naps, diaper changes, incidents, medications, milestones, or any other information families should know before pickup. Only children who are currently checked in appear on this page.
Posting an update
- Select the child you'd like to update.
- Choose an update type, such as Meal, Nap, Diaper, Incident, or Note.
- Enter a brief description of what happened.
- Click Post to immediately make the update available in the parent's portal.
Incidents
Use the Incident update type whenever a parent should be informed about an injury, illness, accident, or other important event. Parents can see the update immediately, helping avoid surprises at pickup.
Milestones
Check ⭐ Milestone for memorable achievements such as first steps, learning a new skill, completing a potty-training goal, or other special moments. Milestone updates are automatically added to the child's Progress Timeline, so you only need to record them once.
Update history
Previous updates for each child are displayed beneath the entry box, giving you a quick history of everything that has been shared with the family during the day.
