Progress & reports

The Progress page helps you build each child's developmental timeline throughout the year. Record observations, milestones, activities, artwork, and photos as they happen, then generate professional progress reports without re-entering the same information.

Adding an observation
  1. Select the child and date.
  2. Choose the type of entry, such as Observation, ⭐ Milestone, Photo, Activity, or Artwork.
  3. Describe what you observed, optionally select a developmental area, add tags, and attach a photo.
  4. Choose whether to Share with parents, then click Add to timeline.
Development timelines

Every child has their own timeline containing observations, milestones, photos, and activities in chronological order. Use the search box to quickly find a child, then review their complete developmental history at any time.

Milestones

Mark important developmental achievements as ⭐ Milestones to make them easier to find later. If shared with parents, milestone entries also appear in the parent portal and can generate a notification.

Progress reports
  1. Click New report.
  2. Select the child, reporting period, and a report template.
  3. Wylari automatically gathers the relevant observations, milestones, photos, and activities from that period.
  4. Review the report, add your summary, and publish it to the parent portal when you're ready.
Report templates

Use Templates to create reusable report layouts that match your program or state requirements. Once created, the same template can be used for every reporting period.

Observation reminders

The dashboard highlights children who haven't received an observation recently, helping ensure every child has an up-to-date developmental record throughout the year.

Try it in your own daycare.
